When
we initiated into the Delta Sigma Phi fraternity, we pledged to
support the fraternity after graduation. Over
the years, this may have slipped to the back of our minds, or we
may not have seen an organized method of giving back to the
fraternity, or maybe we just were not sure how to provide
support. To resolve this situation, the
executive board of the Eta Omicron ACB, with the help of some
volunteers, has put together a campaign to organize support for the
Eta Omicron chapter.
Pay
It Forward is an ongoing campaign to organize financial, volunteer,
and advisory support for the Eta Omicron chapter of Delta Sigma
Phi. We have a number of funds being organized
for financial support of specific items or goals, but are also
soliciting support in the form of in-kind contributions or
volunteered time for chapter advising/mentoring.
In short, we will coordinate any method you wish to contribute to
the chapter.
The
financial portion of this campaign is intended to raise funds to
support chapter goals and provide financial assistance to
undergraduate members.
Of course, not everyone may have the financial means to
provide monetary support or would prefer to support the chapter by
other means. That is why we are also looking for
people who have time, knowledge, or other in-kind means of
contributing to the chapter. Do you have special
skills or knowledge that you feel would be
valuable? Could you provide
mentoring? Do you have a business
opportunity that would provide a means for chapter
fundraising? Do you have job opportunities for
undergraduates or graduating members? All are
ways of contributing.
